Travelogue
Is this a pirates of the caribbean seaside? Pirates may be look for treasures of Oludeniz beach. The first captured photo in my gallery, was taken by me in the early times of morning before fleets to sail for daily tour from the Belcekiz shore resembling the film set and then soon turned my eyes to the sky, stared low at the dazzling sunlight. When I saw dozens of parachutes coming down, yes that was the Beach of Dead Sea Belcekiz.
They look like a coy bride floating in the sky. When I participated in mountaineering activities many years ago, I was looking forward to fly with them again. Two of my friends with basic paragliding training together years ago, are now experienced pilots here.
We stayed in a hotel region in the summer season of 2018 with Olympos mountaineering club that has bird eye view of Faralya. I was one of those prefering to sleep in a tent in the Onur Motel garden overlooking the edge of the pool where the sky and the sea met. Comfort spoils me but those looking for comfort also there were nice wooden bungalows.
Thanks to Gravity tandem, no need wings to fly. The vibrance of coming to Oludeniz and gliding down the 1750 mt jump top of Babadag, which is close to 2000 mt for an average of half an hour with experienced pilots of a paragliding club enables as if you could be winged. Under your parachute you see Mediterranean turquoise sea, enchanting bays with indented as you take your eye off the sun's reflections. If you've had some flying experience before, it's satisfying to even handle the wings like I did for a while.
